Be a Doer — Not Just a Talker
A group of people stood at the base of a massive mountain. The talkers debated its existence, arguing about whether it should even be there. The critics pointed at it, listing all the reasons it was impossible to move.
Then, the doers arrived. They didn’t waste time talking, they grabbed their tools and got to work.
Lately, I’ve found myself surrounded by talkers and critics. It got me thinking, growing up, I was led by example. My parents and family lived by a simple truth: eyes are afraid, but hands can do. So I just did. And that made me a doer.
Here’s my tip to you: close your eyes and start doing.
Doers move mountains. Talkers move lips. Critics move neither.
If you want to make an impact, stop debating and start doing. The world is changed by those who take action. Which one will you be?
